Shipping policy

We strive to pack and ship your order as quickly as possible.  Depending on the time of your order, our shipping times may vary.  Here are the factors that may contribute to shipping times and processing.

Order Receipt

Once your order is placed we recieve immediate notification from our website 24 hours a day.  However, our store business hours operate during normal daytime hours in Hawaii time to process the packing and shipping of your order.  This is also subject to Holidays and special events that affect business hours.  

Item Availability

Along with our website online store, Born Hawaii is active with live in store sales, event sales, and custom orders.  This offers customers several avenues to purchase our products, but makes it difficult to manage real time inventory.  We do strive to maintain accurate availability for our website, but may sell out of certain items before we are able to update inventory.

While packing your order, we may find that the item is out of stock.  In these cases, we will attempt to contact you immediately by email or phone number if one was included with your order information.  You will then be given options to fullfill, substitue, or refund for the out of stock item.  Your response time to this email will affect our shipping times significantly.

 Shipping Vendor

We want to provide you the most economical means of shipping and have chosen the US Postal Service (USPS) as our primary shipping vendor.  Orders in Hawaii usually take 3-5 days from shipping notification to arrival at your address.  Orders to US Mainland are sent with Priority Mail and can take from 5-10 days depending on the distance from Hawaii.  Please take these factors in to account if ordering for a special event that is time sensitive.  You may request the use of another service at additional costs.

Tracking Information

Our order system provides tracking information so that we can both check on your order status.  Please use this information prior to contacting us about a shipment.  We are not the postal service and cannot find out where exactly a package is once the order is delivered to the Post Office.
