  •  "Do you accept returns?"

Returns/Exchanges: No Cash Refund or Credit back to credit card. Exchanges only within 30 days of purchase. Sale items are Final!

  • "What is your exchange policy like?"

You must notify us first by sending an email at bornhi@bornhawaii.com for an authorization.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with the tags attached or in its original package.

Pack your item and include your packing slip with your exchange request and $8 for shipping, 2 or more items need to include $10.  

Mail your product to: Born Hawaii, 4-1526 Kuhio Hwy. Kapaa, Hawai'i 96746.  You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and start the exchange process. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

  • "What is a PRE-ORDER item?"

When something is labelled "PRE-ORDER" that means that we do not have it in stock. This does not mean you cannot purchase that item. If you choose to purchase a PRE-ORDER item, it will take 4-6 weeks after confirmation for us to ship to you.

  • "I ordered something that wasn't labelled PRE-ORDER but when I placed the order I received an email saying my item was not available... Why is that?"

This is an issue that comes up frequently because the inventory for our online store cannot be connected to the updated and changing inventory for our physical store. So when we make a sale of an item in our physical store our online inventory will still have it marked as available for purchase. At that point you have three options; One being an exchange for a different item, two being waiting the 4-6 weeks for that PRE-ORDERED item, or a refund.

  • "What is the material of your products?"

Our products are known for their design and material, our products are  made of a polyester blend giving off a thin and soft jersey like feeling. Most jerseys are usually heavy and hot, but because of the mesh in our material air is able to flow throughout the clothing letting it "breath" and keeping you cool through out your day.
